Ride the railroad all around the park. Visit the K9 Memorial, Reflection Pond, the fitness zone, The Military Court of Honor, the Cultural Center and the beautiful, Largo Public Library nearby. The Rainbow Rotary Playground is one of the only playgrounds in the Bay area completely accessible to disabled users.
There are eight picnic pavilions, also restrooms available and a fire pit area that can be rented for your club or family function. The railroad and crew can be reserved, for special occasions, by the hour. Phone 727-586-7415 for rental information. The Largo Central Railroad runs through the park. Learn more about the LCR On a personal note, this park rates 5-Stars from us. As a rule, we try to limit our photojournals to around twenty photos or less each week. We took so many photos on this visit that it was difficult to pare down. Take your time when you visit, there are so many unique features to find as you stroll the grounds. |
