Pop Stansell Memorial Park
797 Florida Ave
Palm Harbor

A beautiful five acre park located at the Intracoastal on Sutherland Bayou. It is also convenient – only two blocks - from the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail for a nice side trip on your bike.

There is a paved sidewalk “loop” in and around the park for a little walking exercise.

The Park is clean and very well maintained. You’ll find a nice, popular playground for the kids, a picnic area, a band shell with restrooms, a kayak and canoe launch (non-motorized) and a fishing pier.

The paved walkways in the park and the connected sidewalk adjacent to the park are convenient for walkers or wheelchairs. There is not a paved surface to the fishing pier. There is a good amount of parking space.

In many respects Pop Stansell and his family helped put Palm Harbor on the map. Learn more about Pop Stansell and Palm Harbor with the links below.
