Great and wonderful things can come
in small packages! Such is the beauty
of Sunset Beach - an
11-acre beach
park on a peninsula in
Tarpon Springs.

This beach is located on the Western end of Gulf Road, just across a short causeway originally built in 1926. Known by many, it is a true jewel shining on the Gulf Coast.

The Park has barbecue grills, sheltered picnic tables, a concession stand, bicycle stands and public restrooms. Whatever your preference for a day at the beach – swimming, picnicking, fishing or just working on the tan, waiting for another one-of-a-kind Suncoast sunset, this is the place to do it.

Sunset Beach is a beautiful alternative to the better-known beaches along the Gulf Coast of Pinellas County. There is plenty of free parking either at the beach or along the Causeway. It does get a little crowded especially on the weekends and especially as sundown approaches.

It gets even better!
Check out the Sunset Beach Concert Series.

Monthly concerts are held from 7-9 p.m. – weather permitting - on the first Thursday of every month
from February through November at Sunset Beach.
