Spotlight On-
Safety Harbor, Florida

We invite you to take a trip West from Tampa over the beautiful Courtney Campbell Causeway. Take your first right and head North along Bayshore Boulevard. It's a short trip along Old Tampa Bay to the the quaint, vibrant small City of Safety Harbor.

Incorporated in 1917, Safety Harbor is home to 17,000 residents and many more vacationers yearly.

As you enter town you'll note the beautiful Waterfront Park on your right with its long dock, marina and grounds. This is the site for stunning views and many gorgeous sunrise photographs.

Take a stroll along palm-lined Main Street. It has a small town feel and some big city class! You'll find all types of stores, fun-to-visit shops, antiques and galleries. Restaurants galore ranging from breakfast, BBQ and sandwich shops to fine dining. Yes - even a Starbucks along the way if you crave a Caramel Macchiato. There are Parks of historical significance with beautiful old moss-draped oaks.

Stop and sit on one of the inviting benches near the gazebo and take it all in - let it all envelop you.

So much to be enjoyed on a liesurely stroll along Safety Harbor's Main Street

Colorful flowers are everywhere. Watch for little "secrets" hidden in plain sight along your way - sidewalk paintings, works of art on several buildings - including a mural depicting the horse drawn days revisited on Fire Station 52. Be sure to stop in at the Safety Harbor Museum to find out more about the wonderful heritage and history of this fine and fun Tampa Bay city. More of our Safety Harbor photos.
